When I was a little girl we drove past the monsanto plant on the way to the grocery store every month. As a child I thought it was the place where demons lived, because passing by it made me ill and it *felt evil*. The adults thought this was humorous and cute, but now that I am an adult every time I find out anything new about Monsanto it makes me feel like my child self was wiser than I knew!

The lead researcher behind the monumental study that linked Monsanto’s GMOs and best-selling herbicide Roundup to tumor development and early death is now blowing the whistle on many corporate scientists who are not just close to Monsanto and profit-harvesting GMO crops — many of them actually have or are seeking their own GMO patents. These patents, of course, enable them to make bountiful amounts of cash.
