This is very interesting-and that you can use gluten free cake(or perhaps the crumbs from an attempt at gluten free vegan cake that didn’t quite make it-would be nice to have some projects to use as “recoveries” for when that happens;-) I’ve been seeing cake-pop-makers advertised so widely this year I did not realize they were something you could make by hand. This looks so much more creative and fun to do.

photo (1)I’ve had cake pops on my ‘to do list’ for a while and finally got the opportunity when visiting a friend down in New Plymouth the other week. She has two daughters who were keen to help make them and even more importantly eat them. It’s a fun activity to do with kids, fairly easy but a bit fiddly. For those younger than 8 years you will need to assist with the moulding of the cake balls and inserting the sticks into the cake pops gently so not to break the already moulded cake. The dipping and decorating is the easy bit and I would suggest letting them have ‘free reign’ on how they want them to look and not worry too much about the perfect looking pop for your blog!

The girls did an amazing job, we made a few Christmas pudding style pops and then the creativity started…

As the time left before your awakening shrinks away, focus on showing compassion to those whom you find offensive, remembering that all unlovingness is caused by a lack of self worth, a sense of unacceptability, and the fear that that generates often leads to offensive behavior. This does not mean condoning offensive behavior, but reacting with a counter-attack is unhelpful and often causes a severe escalation of anger,
Sometimes this is very difficult, especially when the “offensiveness” is a person doing violence or harm to innocent and helpless beings like animals, trees and children-but I love the reminder! I keep reminding myself and working at it, I know eventually I will be able to emulate one of my great heroes, the Dalai Lama in the ability to hold and generate compassion even for those doing violence and harm to innocents, and or those I care about.

Presently on Earth, a massive release of pent-up negative energy, in the form of attitudes and behaviors that are opposed to Love, is occurring…

Thank you for this wonderful article! My Mom is a teacher;-)

Sunglasses Always Fit

You know the scene – it’s Christmas time (or “holiday tree time) and you want to show appreciation to your child’s teacher. You want it to involve your child, be meaningful, maybe even fun. You want it to be cheap. “A-ha! I will make her a dozen sugar cookies! My child and I will decorate them together! It will be an experience and she will see the time we spent on the cookies and feel appreciated!”

This is a very sweet idea. But…

I teach junior high Latin and Spanish, so I have roughly 130 students. At every holiday, my room is inundated with dozens of cookies. Some are the decorated sugar ones (which, let’s admit, aren’t ever tasty), some have nuts (cookie ruiners!), some have coconut (another ruiner!), some are from students whose hygiene habits I have serious doubts about.

If I conservatively estimate that only 1 in 3…

It is our intent now to bring to your attention the constant flood of Creator’s unconditional love, that which we sometimes name energy or light, which is flowing through your world now.  It has, of course, always done so, but it has reached a volume which can now not be missed by any who may turn their attention to it.
