Even if HAARP is not causing you problems these are good ideas just for settling oneself in the intense energy with the full moon and all the other stuff going on these days!

Up 2 The 5th

Hi, Everyone,

I was chatting with some friends tonight, comparing notes on recent energies. I think we agreed: there’s something going on right now, and HAARP or something similar is probably up to some tricks.

So I’ll briefly share some techniques that might help dispel “Sheeple Syndrome” (feeling dull, numb, negative, unable to complete tasks or think positively, or unable to connect with your Guidance in the usual ways…)

  1. Asking for help from your Guides is the easiest, most effective way to get out of a slump. Trust Them.
  2. Generate an awareness of a pale lavender light bouncing from one side of your brain to the other, passing through the Pineal Gland or Third Eye.
  3. Sit and watch a pendulum for more than 5 minutes, even if it does not move at all. Focus on the tip and intend to clear your mind, or focus on positive objects like gratitude…

Gibbous Moon Phase – Moon in Virgo/Libra

Today it is very important to stay open to ideas or input that is completely out of the normal range of consideration. Information blows in from out of the blue and should be taken into account. This is Gaia-Sophia’s way of interacting (playing) with us. What are the new/different solutions and inspirations.that are presenting themselves?

Make sure you don’t mistake the feeling of being “off course” or “off track” as negative. Remember that a process of deep change and transformation is underway in preparation for a new activation at the next New Moon. Changes are happening at the energetic level. Beginning at the next New Moon and continuing througout that lunar month, dormant DNA and unutilized areas of the brain will engage. This progression has been happening at regular intervals for some time; now we are able to see when these “upgrades” will occur. So we are clearing out and releasing the past so that emotional blockages do not impede the fullest manifestation of this. The more we clear out now, the more we can experience the uplift. This means clearing out clutter. Clutter builds up in our bodies, minds, and surroundings. Clean out your closet, your desk, your body, your mind. Plow your inner and outer landscape for a complete refreshment. More on this as the time approaches.

As far as removing blocks that have turned into sore spots in the body, I was gifted with the Rumble Roller last week. I am not one to peddle products, but this has changed my life. If you invest in one, don’t be like me and overdose on it the first day (the muscle release was so intense that I couldn’t stop!). Take it slowly.

Finally, sincerity goes a very, very long way today – much farther than normal, and the conflictual energy that was dominant yesterday begins to abate. Enjoy the playground of life with Gaia-Sophia today!

Worst Bee die-off in 40 years-Friends of the Earth

Worst bee die-off in 40 years

Posted Mar. 25, 2013 / Posted by: Lisa Archer

Spring is in the air, and as we plant our vegetable gardens and enjoy the blossoming flowers, its easy to forget the small creatures that keep many of our spring favorites alive and are essential to our food supply: bees.

One out of every three bites of food you and I eat is pollinated by honeybees. In fact, bees and other pollinators are necessary for about 75 percent of our global food crops. From nuts and soybeans, to squash and cucumbers, from apples, oranges, cherries and blueberries, to avocados, peaches and melons, bees play a critical role in producing the food we eat. Honey bees also contribute over $15 billion to the U.S. economy. Bees are a keystone species and with roughly 80 percent of all flowering plants on the earth reliant on pollinators to reproduce, if we lose bees we will likely lose a host of other important species.

As you may have read in the news, these critical pollinators are in trouble, victims of Colony Collapse Disorder or CCD, a phenomenon in which bee colonies have been mysteriously collapsing when adult bees seemingly abandon their hives. This last winter, beekeepers reported bee die-offs of more than 50 percent the worst loss in more than 40 years. CCD has pushed the beekeeping industry in the U.S. to the verge of collapse, and this could spell trouble for a variety of our favorite foods from almonds to blueberries.

For years, the cause of CCD was a scientific mystery, but a growing body of scientific evidence is pointing to a key factor, a class of neurotoxic pesticides called neonicotinoids, or neonics. In fact, a January 2013 EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) report labeled neonicotinoids as an ‘unacceptable’ danger to bees. And a new report from the American Bird Conservancy provides compelling evidence that neonics are also harming birds.

Neonics are the fastest-growing class of synthetic pesticides in history, and the neonicotinoid imidacloprid (Bayer Crop Science’s top-selling product), is currently the most widely used insecticide in the world. Neonics are used as seed treatments on more than 140 crop varieties, as well as on termites, cat and dog flea treatments, lawns, landscapes and gardens. Neonics are persistent and last for years in the soil. They permeate the entire plant and are expressed in pollen, nectar and guttation droplets (dew). And, they cant be washed off food, meaning that we are all eating them.

Whats worse, Neonics arent just in use in commercial agriculture. Many of the plants and seeds we buy in nurseries across the U.S. have been pre-treated with the pesticides and at much higher doses than is used on farms so when we plant our gardens we may unwittingly be harming bees!

The EPA approved Bayer’s products based on the companies own studies and despite mounting evidence including a memo by the EPAs own scientists discrediting Bayers original study and 1.25 million public comments, the EPA has delayed action on neonics until 2018. Other governments havent been so slow to act. Governments in Italy, Germany, France and elsewhere have already taken action to limit neonics, and beekeepers there are reporting recovery.

The 2013 EFSA study has prompted the EU Parliament to consider a two-year ban on three popular neonics. And, due to a successful campaign by our sister organization Friends of the Earth England, Wales, Northern Ireland (EWNI), many of the major home and garden retailers in the UK have pledged to stop selling neonics.

Bees really are the canary in the coal mine when it comes to our food, telling us that the way we produce our food is unhealthy and unsustainable and needs a rapid transition to sustainable, just, ecological agriculture. A new USDA study shows that we could move away from chemically intensive industrial agriculture toward a system of ecologically friendly agriculture and continue to produce enough food for us all.

Friends of the Earth has some exciting actions coming up to save the bees and other pollinators. Youll have an important role to play, so check back soon.

And in the meantime, choose to buy organic food as much as possible, and, as you plant your spring gardens, be sure to say no to the neonics and choose certified organic seeds and plants to help protect bees and other pollinators!

The Oracle Report- Daily Energetic Analysis During the Time of Awakening

Gibbous Moon Phase – Moon in Virgo

Today we are directed toward our inner power. It’s a day to go inside and become very aware of your personal energetic resources and where they are being used. Focus your center of concentration (locus of control) on the inside of yourself, not on the outer world and watch how things are moving around.

Mars makes a square to Pluto today. This energy is in conlict. Mars wants to move forward and Pluto wants to take down. Oftentimes this brings emotional confusion and a layer of depression. We are less likely to spiral into confusion if we pull in our power and settle it inside instead of trying to make strides. Practice the technique of the wise owl in the tree and huddle back to the stance of observer.

In my experience, and that of several others I have heard from those who do not wish Light to be anchored in the Earth, or the reign of corruption, greed and cruelty to end, are putting some real effort into disrupting and throwing off lightworkers of all kinds. I wonder if anyone has any ideas other than keep on keeping on;-) for how we could all successfully respond to this?

gaia_energy1Movements both within and without are called for within Light Station stewards. Such Stations are manifested in harmony with energy signatures of each steward and the location and intention for each Light Station.

Releasing of engraved patterns in such stewards and all Hue-manity is essential for next steps in the energetic upgrade of Gaia. These pathways have yet to be traversed, and request the full flexibility of those involved.

We recommend savoring the energies of these moments.

The manuscript of survival – part 290 by Aisha North

The song inside of you have changed its tune now, and even if it might be difficult to decipher between all of the clamor these new energies have created, it is there, and it is constant. So do not fall into the trap of thinking that these last few days intense upheavals have thrown you off the track, far from it. But as we told you earlier, the buttons would be pushed by these incoming energies, and pushed they have been. To the extent that for some of you, a sudden breakthrough has suddenly arrived, as if out of the blue. As breakthroughs goes, these have been so profound, they will literally change the whole landscape around you, as you seem to have been walking on a foggy moore and then suddenly emerge in a very different landscape where the air is crystal clear and sharp, and everything stands out in vivid detail. This is not an easy journey for any of you, but for some, these last few days have been more challenging than you can mayhaps ever remember, and as such, this process will for quite a few of you still take some time before it all settles down, and you too will be better able to discern all of the details around you.

For this is indeed that last stage in the desert if you will, when you will all start to see something shimmering on the horizon, and this time, it will not be a trick of the eye, but it will be the first sight of your final destination.

And what is your final destination? It is not a city of gold and treasures, inhabited by fleet footed maidens and handsome warriors. No, what we talk about, is that golden city within, the one that has always been there, but one that for years and years has been neglected. Not out of spite, but because you were not even aware that it was there. But last weeks intense shower of love has washed away all, or at least the majority of debris that have been covering up this fabled city, and now, it cannot be hidden anymore. Not from you, nor from others. For the lights in that city are coming on, one by one, and they are starting to draw your attention, whether you like it or not. For some, they are already dancing in the streets in a happy reunion with themselves and this inner city of gold, while for others, they have still a little bit left on that road towards it. But you have all, in some ways, been made aware of this fabled place, and you can feel it beckoning inside of you as an irresistible force.

Remember, each one of you have your own way of arriving in this city. For some, it will be through an almost traumatic and painful recovery of the memories that are kept within the walls of this place. For others, it will almost feel like you stumble upon it by sheer luck, and the list is long. So again we say, do not follow in the footsteps of others if you want to rediscover this fabled city. For then, the road will quickly peter out, and you will leave yourself stranded in the desert. So make sure that you are very present in yourself, and seek the ways that will help you to do this. For only you will know how to look, if you have not yet arrived. So again we say that all is well, no matter on what stage of this final journey you all are. For you are just where you are meant to be.

So breathe deeply, and celebrate, whether you know you have arrived, or whether you are facing that final hill where you know you will be able to set your eyes upon that final resting place. For this is where the true you reside, and this is where you will be reunited with yourself once and for all. So again, we wish you all god speed, on this, the final push within. And if you have arrived, you will know so, because then it is as even the colours start to change hue, and the light will brighten, and so will you.

Poisoned Bees Will Get Their Day In Court | Care2 Causes

Poisoned Bees Will Get Their Day In Court

Poisoned Bees Will Get Their Day In Court

All around the world, bee colonies are dwindling thanks to a phenomenon scientists call Colony Collapse Disorder. After several studies linked the mysterious deaths to a class of pesticides known as neonicotinoids, major nations took action by suspending or banning their use. But not the United States.

Appalled by the EPAs apparent disinterest in protecting both the bees and our food supply, four beekeepers and five environmental and consumer groups filed a lawsuit in Federal District Court against the agency for its failure to protect pollinators from dangerous pesticides. The bees, it seems, will finally get their day in court, although it never really should have come to this.

A year ago, the Center for Food Safety and a coalition including 25 prominent beekeepers filed an Emergency Petition with the EPA asking the agency to suspend the use of certain neonicotinoids until they are proven safe to pollinators, the environment and future food security. The agency indicated it will not finish its Registration Review for these substances until 2018, the bureaucratic equivalent of a shoulder shrug. But the bees and those who depend on them (thats you, by the way) wouldnt be silenced that easily.

Americas beekeepers cannot survive for long with the toxic environment EPA has supported. Bee-toxic pesticides in dozens of widely used products, on top of many other stresses our industry faces, are killing our bees and threatening our livelihoods, said plaintiff Steve Ellis, a Minnesota and California beekeeper. Our country depends on bees for crop pollination and honey production. Its time for EPA to recognize the value of bees to our food system and agricultural economy.

The coalition that filed the suit seeks suspension of the registrations of insecticides that have repeatedly been identified as highly toxic to honey bees, clear causes of major bee kills and significant contributors to the devastating ongoing mortality of bees known as colony collapse disorder. The suit challenges EPAs ongoing handling of the pesticides as well as the agencys practice of conditional registration and labeling deficiencies.

The case also challenges the use of so-called conditional registrations for these pesticides, which expedites commercialization by bypassing meaningful premarket review. Since 2000, over two-thirds of pesticide products, including clothianidin and thiamethoxam, have been brought to market as conditional registrations.

Independent scientists have assessed the effects of clothianidin and thiamethoxam on honey bee colony health and development, examining both sub-lethal exposure effects and acute risks. Scientists have also identified massive data gaps that prevent accurate assessments as to their continued safety, not just for honey bees but for ecosystem integrity on the whole. A major new report issued recently by the American Bird Conservancysounds dire warnings about EPAs failures to assess threats to birds and to the aquatic ecosystems many species depend upon.

Beekeepers and environmental and consumer groups have demonstrated time and time again over the last several years that EPA needs to protect bees. The agency has refused, so weve been compelled to sue, said Center for Food Safety attorney, Peter T. Jenkins. EPAs unlawful actions should convince the Court to suspend the approvals for clothianidin and thiamethoxam products until those violations are resolved.

A Single American Can Use as Much Water in a Day as 900 Kenyans | Care2 Causes

A Single American Can Use as Much Water in a Day as 900 Kenyans

A Single American Can Use as Much Water in a Day as 900 Kenyans

Written by Danielle Nierenberg

The United States is one of the worlds biggest users of water. A single American can use as much water in a day as approximately 900 Kenyans. As a result, water resources in the US are shrinking. In the last five years, there have been water shortages in almost every part of the country, including the worst drought in at least 25 years, which hit 80 percent of the countrys farmland in 2012. Even worse, at least 36 states currently are expecting local, regional, or statewide water shortages, even without drought.

The Natural Resources Defense Council expects water scarcity to affect the American South, West, and Midwest the most. Fourteen states in these regions already have extreme or high risk of water scarcity. Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, and Texas face the most danger because they are expected to see some of the largest increases in population by 2030. Water scarcity is about more than lack of water, its about lack of drinkable water. It is estimated that as many as 53.6 million Americans have contaminated tap water.

As consumers we can profoundly reduce water waste and consumption through the food choices we make. Recent research from the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition shows that a healthful and environmentally sustainable diet can go hand in hand.

Here are five steps to save water in the United States:

Eating a little less meat. Switching from a meat-centered weekly menu to a diet rich in vegetables and grains could save 2,500 liters of water a day! And eating grass-fed and locally-raised meat, eggs, and dairy products can also save water.

Steam veggies instead of boiling. In general, steaming vegetables uses less water than boiling, and, according to a study in the Journal of Food Quality, its more nutritious. For example, boiling corn on the cob in a large pot may use 6-8 quarts of water, whereas steaming only uses 1-2 quarts. If you must boil, save the water for your garden, soup stock, or use it to clean pots.

Provide support for small-scale, family farms. Agricultural subsidies in the US disproportionately support large-scale agribusinesses over the small-scale producers who are more likely to be engaged in sustainable food production, and may be challenged by drought or commodity price fluctuations. Changes in government support services could reduce this deficit and improve food and water security.

Streamline water use in home gardens. During the summer months nearly 40 percent of household water is used for watering lawns and gardens, the EPA reports. National Geographic suggests incorporating native plants into your garden that are adapted to the local climate and often require less water. Manually watering plants, instead of using automatic sprinklers, cuts water use by 33 percent, according to the EPA. Consumers can also buy self-watering planters, or construct rain barrels that can save you up to 1,300 gallons of water.

Reduce food waste. The UN Food and Agriculture Organization reports that nearly one third of all food produced for human consumption is wasted throughout production, storage, transportation, consumption and disposal. Learn about the shelf life of the foods you buy and find out how long you can store food in your freezer. Other ways to reduce food waste are only buying what you plan to eat, using leftovers to create new meals, or donating food you cant use to soup kitchens.

Big Oil Attempts to End-Run Keystone XL with Congressional Approval | Common Dreams

Big Oil Attempts to End-Run Keystone XL with Congressional Approval

“Just once, we wish these Senators would break the trend and listen to the thousands upon thousands standing up against this pipeline, instead of the Big Oil benefactors lining their campaign war chests.”

– Lauren McCauley, staff writer

The oil industry is planning an end-run around the President and State Department as they linger over the impending decision on whether to authorize the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline by pushing for Big Oil friendly Congressional approval of the project.

Thousands gathered at the Forward on Climate rally on Feb. 17 2013 in opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline. (Photo: M.Scott Mahaskey/POLITICO) On Thursday, Senators John Hoeven (R-N.D.) and Max Baucus (D-Mont.) introduced a bill which authorizes Transcanada Corp. to construct the pipeline, opening up more than 800,000 barrels a day of heavily polluting tar sands oil.

The announcement of the bill reads: “The senators bill would approve the 1,700-mile, high-tech project under Congresss authority enumerated in the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 8.”

Reportedly, Hoeven last year secured an opinion from the Congressional Research Service (CRS) confirming Congresss constitutional authority to approve the project.

According to Oil Change International, “the co-sponsors of this new bill have enjoyed massive contributions from the fossil fuel industry through their careers.” According to their Dirty Energy Money database:

  • In total, the 14 Senators who have co-sponsored this bill have received nearly $10 MILLION in contributions from the fossil fuel industry, some $6.6 million of that from the oil industry alone.
  • On average, the 14 co-sponsors have received over $708,000 each from the fossil fuel industry in their career, over half of that from the oil industry.
  • Compared to the rest of the Senate, the co-sponsors of todays pro-KeystoneXL bill have received 227% more in fossil fuel-related campaign contributions on average than their counterparts.

The list of Senators cosponsoring the bill includes Sens. Mark Begich (D-Alaska), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Pat Roberts (R-Kan.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) Mary Landrieu (D-La.), David Vitter (R-La.), Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.), Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), James Risch (R-Idaho), Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and John Barrasso (R-Wyo.).

“Consistency is sometimes a trait to be admired,” writes Oil Change’s David Turnbull. “But just once, we wish these Senators would break the trend and listen to the thousands upon thousands standing up against this pipeline, instead of the Big Oil benefactors lining their campaign war chests.”

This latest move follows a letter submitted in late January by 53 US Senators which urged fast-track approval of the pipeline project.

Since 2011, Congress has tried repeatedly to force the president’s approval of the project. As Reuters reports:

In late 2011 Republicans inserted language in a payroll tax cut bill giving Obama a 60-day deadline to make a decision.

Obama ruled in early 2012 the administration needed more time to evaluate a revised route through Nebraska submitted by TransCanada to avoid sensitive ecological areas.

Keystone backers in Congress pushed to override Obama’s call and approve the line themselves, but a vote last year in the Senate fell four votes short of passage.

Hoeven said this time the bill should pass because the previous vote was held before Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman approved TransCanada’s revised path of the pipeline. Hoeven also said he believed he has enough votes to overturn an Obama veto should it reach that point.

Indefensible price gouging for basic communication is a fact of life for millions | Color of Change

I just got this in email, and time is short to make a difference on this, so please read and share widely.
If you’ve never known anyone who was incarcerated you may have never even heard of this particular aspect of the corruption rampant in our corporate owned government, but it is rotten.

When my best friend and roommate was arrested-
(for being a pothead which is a whole other can of worms about the ridiculousness of making a PLANT illegal. I have no personal interest in smoking pot, it does nothing for me but I cannot understand how my entire country has fallen for the lies that were told to destroy Monsanto and DuPont’s competition-Cannabis is illegal because Hemp is a superior product to nylon for ropes and sails etc)

-we were dirt poor and the phone bill was astonishing, I almost lost my phone service. We actually had to pay a FEE in order to be “eligible” to receive collect calls from the jail-because unlike ordinary collect calls, these calls cost a LOT more.

He was only in jail for a few months, (and then in a drug treatment center that tried to deny his religious freedom) so I did not have to bear the burden so many do whose loved ones are incarcerated for years, but I know this message is telling the truth from personal experience.

This is one small step in ending the corruption, but as the old saying goes the journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step….

Indefensible price gouging for basic communication is a fact of life for millions of American families with loved ones who are currently incarcerated.1 They’re a captive audience for the phone service providers awarded monopoly contracts by prison operators, and are accordingly charged 15 times or more than regular phone rates.2

Martha Wright, an 86-year-old grandmother, has spent the last decade of her life fighting these predatory practices in the courts, and now before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).3For Wright, choosing to maintain her relationship with her grandson as he’s been transferred between four separate correctional facilities in as many states has meant at times going without her medication and even without food in order to afford their twice-weekly phone calls.4

Keeping up regular family contact is not only key to supporting our loved ones while they are incarcerated, but it also plays a critical role in reducing recidivism and assisting with successful reintegration post-release.5 In order to address the rampant profiteering that is so disruptive to these family and community relationships, the FCC is currently considering capping prison phone rates in line with those available to the general public but it’s only accepting public comment through this Monday, March 25th.

Please join us in urging the FCC to stand up for families and curb the abusive business practices of prison phone providers. It only takes a moment.

Prison phone corporations dont compete for contracts in the normal sense of the word, meaning that they dont win bids by offering the lowest rates. This is because phone companies arent contracting with the people who actually use their service by making and receiving phone calls theyre inking deals with states, localities and private prison operators that arent directly impacted by calling rates, but benefit to the tune of millions of dollars annually from commissions charged on each call. In at least Louisiana, Alaska, Nevada and Alabama, increasing these corrupt kickbacks from the phone service providers has been shown to have been the determining factor in selecting winning contract bids.6

And while government entities generating revenue by punishing the families of prisoners is a scandal, it’s the private prison industry in particular that has a ruthless track record of profit-seeking behavior that actively targets and exploits the most vulnerable among us. The countrys largest private prison operator, Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), was a key architect of Arizonas notorious SB1070,7 the racial profiling law designed to fill prison beds with anyone unable to prove on demand that they arent an undocumented immigrant.8 The GEO Group, the industrys second largest player and regular subject of civil and human rights abuse investigations,9 was barred from doing business with the entire state of Mississippi after massive corner-cutting at their Walnut Grove youth facility led to rampant sexual and other physical abuse by staff of the minors in their care.10

In light of states widespread practice of warehousing their prisoners in private facilities owned by CCA and GEO Group out of state an ill-conceived attempt to address budget shortfalls and overcrowding that has failed miserably on both counts11,12 the cost of interstate prison phone calls deserves special scrutiny. Transferring inmates often repeatedly across state lines makes physical visits virtually impossible for most family members due to the distance and expense involved. And private prisons dont have to comply with the same visitation standards as their public counterparts, leaving inmates and their support networks even more reliant on the phone system for maintaining any kind of connection during incarceration.

For Black men in their 30s, one in every ten is in prison or jail on any given day, and federal sentencing data shows that Black men receive longer sentences than white men for the same crimes.13 Among Black children, one in nine has an incarcerated parent,14 constituting an enormous captive audience for prison phone operators preying on the need to keep family connections alive over the course of years or even decades apart.

Demand that the FCC cap interstate phone rates and stop prison phone operators from exploiting our families for extortionate profits. And when you do, please ask your friends and family to do the same.

Thanks and Peace,
