October 24 is UN Day; a day to celebrate all the good that has come from the creation of an international collaboration toward greater peace and justice on Earth.

I know that UN, like nearly every other agency, government and large business currently is plagued by corruption and manipulation toward negative agendas.

Unlike many I refuse to believe that this invalidates or negates the higher beliefs and goals so many of us have for this organization.

We are not powerless children simply watching the 1% control our planet! We choose what things are meant to do.

We choose how our governments, international agencies and businesses operate and what they can and cannot do.

If they don’t work well don’t blame the people actively working to make the world better-blame the many millions who COULD get off their lazy rumps and take action on the problems but instead complain endlessly about the solutions they don’t like.

I am very grateful that some people gave their time and effort to create, maintain and expand an international organization to promote : peace instead of war; justice for all instead of discrimination, genocide, and oppression; and sustainable development and environmental protection and preservation instead if wanton destruction, greed and global extinction.

If we want those goals then we can work together to co-create them-joining millions of human beings throughout the last 68 years who have worked together thru the institution of the United Nations to do so.

The link below is to a brief list of highlights of achievements from those years of UN activity.

If you appreciate women, children, indigenous peoples, justice, human rights, peace and the Earth then this list should brighten your day.

If you hate and oppose the UN but think the stuff on this list is good-then ask yourself what is your hatred for?

If you believe in “the secret” or any other energy based worldview-remember that where attention goes, so follows reality.

So please join me in celebration of the positive, loving and compassionate achievements of the UN- which are truly the positive achievements of humanity; our first steps as a planet toward co-creating the peace, justice and global harmony that are fundamental requirements for entering Galactic society.

The United Nations was established to foster global peace, prosperity and justice. It has succeeded in its fundamental mission of preventing a third world war and improving global quality of life. But over the last 60 years, the UN’s mission and membership have been broadened dramatically. Great Moments in the UN’s History:

1945: United Nations Founded
President Harry Truman, along with representatives from 50 other countries, signed the UN Charter in San Francisco, California.

1948: Universal Declaration of Human Rights Signed
First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt personally helped prepare the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the first document considered to have international normative value.
