How is what you are feeling related to the message that is trying to get through to you? We’ve had two months of full light for clarity and insight to see what we need to see. We just need to see right now; action is not required. It may be helpful to think about precendent. What’s the history of the issue? What has borne out or been shown over and over again?
Things try to get through the cracks today, so it may be necessary to enlist the help of others if you are working on something important. More hands or eyes on something will make it better. It will bear fruit. The potential, in fact, it limitless. Conscious use of the energy can deeply imprint success and flowering into the project, idea, or intention. All that is required is the wisdom to know untapped potential is stronger today.

Thank you for posting this. It is fabulous that they made a movie about it and that people are sharing and learning. I was also very inspired by this, tho it wasc sn academic paper around 1996 or 7 written while the crisis was newly over or maybe still evolving. It fit with the theme I was discovering at the time in the forcefully “underdeveloped” countries subject to the Monroe Doctrine of incredible creative responses that made beatiful end runs around the crushing capitalist/world bank financial blockades of so many Latin American nations. Horizontalism as it is now known arose from economic and political crisis in Argentina. The Brazilians originated much of what became the swap/freecycle movementmore recently, during their big economic meltdown in the 1980’s. In Mexico in the 1990’s a movement was born in response to political corruption. Called Zapatistas, they are still leading the way with crrating local sustainable communities without reliance on government or corporate industry and agriculture. Going further back in history even here in the US we had some similar creative innovation during the Great Depression-much of which was built upon in many ways within activist and other “fringe” groups even while the memory of it all but disappeared from the mainstream culture.
Funny isn’t it, how collapse and chaos can look a lot like freedom depending on point of view?:-)
Thank you for posting this. This is wonderful! I, Starhawk and many others have been saying (and doing) this for decades. It works! As shown by Ghandi, MLK, and so many others throughout history, the more spiritually developed a person is, tge more effective their actions in society. This is why the corrupt governments in China in the past always outlawed the various disciplines, like Shaolin, whise practitioners were capable of creating change.
Some great and easily accessible films that show this are Tai Chi Master, Iron Monkey, and a modern tho not political example is Shaolin Soccer.
Starhawk has been demonstrating this for many years both thru the ReClaiming covens and her own direct activism. The magazine Tikkun focuses on this area of spirit driving our social responsibility. I try to repost their articles often. I even named my blog to reflect this deeply held conviction-Spirit In Action.
Finally, tho often seen as cheesy or cartoonish, the character of Neo inThe Matrix was surely a blatant attempt to give us a road map-as were the original Star Wars movies in the late 70’s and of course Avatar. I’m not trying to ramble:-) only to show sone easy tools to help bring this awareness to a wider audience. Those of us already active will read articles like this, watch interviews etc but those unconvinced, or not on the same page might get the “aha!” moment thru more enjoyable lighthearted pursuits.
