I love this blogger and her wonderful knack at finding and sharing interesting and enlightening posts, stories and blogs. So not claiming to have received this myself since I have been unable to accomplish the steps involved in reposting the awards I have received (phones are complicated for us old folks!:-) but I do want to share the list of blogs that are helping change the world.
Margaret Mead once said to never doubt the power of a small group if committed citizens to change tge world-indeed she said it was the only thing that ever had:-)
I perceive bloggers to be the determined recipients of Mead’s advice. Most of us do believe in the power we all have to create a better world. I believe that the more people connect with one another, share ideas and support the faster that change will come.
One man in Tunisia lit a fuse to a powder keg of change that is still exploding across the Earth as people in every country build the changes street by street, blog by blog, nation by nation.
I am creating this new award to recognize those bloggers at WordPress who are working to make a difference in the world.
Recipients of the Working to Change the World Award work hard and sincerely to make the world a better place, using their compassion, love, and understanding, and promoting open minds, free communication of ideas and, above all, peace.
There are people who do not accept awards who are deserving, and I just want you to know that I appreciate all of the work that you do on your Blog here at WordPress, and I am proud to be part of the WordPress Family with you.
The Rules:
- Post the award on your blog
- Link back to the person you nominated you
- List one thing — however small — that you think would make the world better if everyone did it
- Nominate bloggers whom you feel help to Change
