Full Moon Phase: realization, fulfillment, illumination, shadow

Moon: Virgo

Ruling Mahavidya: Matangi

A revitalization of something from the past occurs this weekend, putting an interest twist on situations. From this we see what stands true, solid, and reliable. The Sun and Mercury (which is retrograde) will conjunct today, bringing messages and information that is important to the alignment or course of our lives. Be attentive to impulses toward books (especially ones you’ve read before or ones that involve ancient wisdom), interviews and podcasts, music (especially complex pieces), or gatherings (especially lectures and workshops). Remember that nature is the greatest teacher, so be mindful of the animal kingdom. We will be naturally drawn toward the messages we need. These impulses will be strong at times. It’s really fun to follow the trail that the universe brings us.

Not only are we sparked with information this weekend, we are sparked with creative inspiration. If you are involved in a creative project, ideas will flow.

If you feel like you are back at the same place, doing the same thing over again, or falling into an old pattern, don’t turn away. Look at it for what it is. You don’t need to take action right now, necessarily, but face it. This will alleviate a lot of problems later. Let the energy deliver the revelation, insight, or understanding.

We come into union with the planet’s frequency by remembering that we are swimming in not just her currents of light, but also those of the galaxy. We breathe in it, walk in it, talk in it, bathe in it, wield within it. We are part of it. It is always there whether we see it, feel it, or believe it exists. No matter where we stand, it is with us. Attaching to this notion – this principle – ensures sanity. It implies safety. Stay close to this frequency. Realign and reconnect to the earth, Gaia Sophia, this weekend. Let’s keep the celebration of love going!

Celebrating Black History Month, The Black History Moment Series #14: Post Racial America You Say….The Curious Case Of Mr. Alfred Wright.

Thank you for posting this. I feel very sick, sad and overwhelmed after reading it but it needs to be shared. That young man reminds me of my brother-this could happen to anyone. Our country is barbaric and does not deserve to be called the land of the free when a car breakdown can end like this.

Obama Uses Backdrop of California Drought to Pitch $1 Billion Climate-Change Fund – Offers California aid to the tune of tens of millions of dollars – Farmers feel Obama’s relief efforts leave something to be desired.

Thank you for sharing this. It is so disheartening to see the power of the oligarchs to deny reality just by spending vast sums to convince people to doubt science-even when the exact problems long predicted by that same science are now harming day to day life.
The big agribusiness control of the central California valley has long been a problem-both for excess water waste and dire pollution. The fact-unknown by most that just 4 corporations own 90% of US media companies and
therefore control the news is nauseatingly evident in these reports.
The very idea that river water from northern California is somehow “owed” to
the Big Ag corporations farming the central valley is repulsive. And insane.
A person concerned about that obvious piracy of resources and destruction of native ecosystems in favor of naked profit is not even close to an environmental extremist. They just dont happen to be a brainwashed corporate boot licker.
I feel whatever Obama is able to push thru as far as climate adaptation is going to be too little, too late to start with and with the media corporations and Big Ag in bed as usual we
can’t expect to see much truthful news about it anyway.
I knew in 95 that the changes caused by heating would be difficult but I did not factor in the insanity of the oligarchs and corporations who actually WANT most of us dead:-/
We dont need their damn overwatered poison laden strawberries in Florida-we grow tons of them here. But our grocery stores are full of California produce-made with water stolen from people and ecosystems (ie other living beings! ). Why?
When will we stop worshipping money?

I can’t see how this can end well unless we start revoking corporations charters for environmental destruction and crimes against humanity. But with the government corporate owned how likely is that?

I keep praying tho-Creator and Gaia have a lot more going on than we may know!

More Supporters Every Day: Save Goat Islands

Thank you for sharing this. I am so glad the resistance is growing. For too long the corrupt in government and corporations have done exactly as they pleased no matter who or what was damaged or destroyed. In most cases the destruction does not even save money or increase shareholder returns at all.

I hope all of my readers will sign the petition and share this. The power of the people united across false borders is far greater than most ever realize!

Petchary's Blog

When I last posted an update about support for the campaign to save the Portland Bight Protected Area, including Goat Islands, I noted, “The Jamaican Government remains alarmingly silent on the matter.” Nothing much has changed. We now hear remarks by Government officials that the proposed transshipment port, to be built by China Harbour Engineering Company, is on track and will be considered by Cabinet in the near future. Minister of Transport and Works Omar Davies apparently has a “draft agreement” in his possession. When asked months ago by journalists for a copy of this agreement last year, Minister Davies prevaricated. Of course, the agreement was never made public. In fact, the Government has blocked efforts to get additional information on the planned project through the Access to Information Act (see my recent posts for further information).

Well, I have updated the list that I posted on December 29…
