Flying Flowers~

Thank you Cindy! I love butterflies. Before we had a chemical crazy neighbor here, a few other neighbors and I had butterfly gardens and we had crowds of them all the time. Once the herbicides and pesticides started to be applied all the time they mostly disappeared.

Wow! Did I have fun today! The San Diego Wild Animal Park had their spring Butterfly Encounter and this was the first year I was home to see it. The butterflies flew around you in an open-air aviary. (Please click to enlarge).
We all were mesmerized. I was blown away by how gentle the little children were, cupping their hands to protect the landing butterflies.
See for yourself, the butterflies were ethereal!
The flowers were pretty amazing too~
It was wonderful to be reminded how much children naturally love our planet’s creatures.
The butterflies reminded me of the ones I saw in Iguazu Falls who loved to hitch rides on humans.
You had to be inspected before you left to make sure you weren’t carrying out a hitchiker!
They were not the least bit afraid.
What an amazing experience!
I almost made it out with this hitchiker on me!

A short update on the energies

Thank you Aisha!

By now, you have all started to settle a little bit into the new energetic format that you entered as you passed through the portal of light that was offered to you all during this past weekends’ communal get-together. Again, this is something that is offered each and every one of you on an individual basis, and so, it differs as to whether or not you chose to enter at this time or if you preferred to delay this experience, and it also differs as to how you experience this shift yourself.

For this is one in a long line of such shifts, and so, it will come as no surprise to any of you that after such an event, it will take some time before you feel more or less fully settled within this new energetic signature that you carry. For this is as you all know a process…

Update: Onondaga Nation’s Request goes International

Thank you for sharing this. I hope they are successful. I have always admired the Onondaga for many reasons, but the ability to put Canada and the US in their place when they start the over-the-top aggression on 6Nations tribal lands is notable. Even tho the treaty that created 6 Nations is a thousand years old, the Onondaga have frequently kept up it’s requirements despite danger and difficulty. I don’t think it is at all unusual that they should be able to count on much larger nations keeping up the requirements of much newer and less difficult to fulfill treaty based duties.

Last Fall, the United States Supreme Court declined to hear the Onondaga Nation’s request for legal treaties to be honored.

The Onondaga Nation is now bringing the Land Rights Action to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (the Commission), which is part of the Organization of American States. As Jeanne Shenandoah of the Onondaga Nation says,

“This Commission has demonstrated, through rulings in other cases, a profound respect for the rights of indigenous peoples, demonstrated in part by its reliance on and respect for the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples [the Declaration].”

The Commission has been debating other human rights questions such as whether the “home” of a corporation is liable for the corporation’s actions abroad. It has also been examining the persistent discrimination that underlies violence…
