THE CHANGE OF SEASONS is upon us. As we traverse this last week of summer in the Northern Hemisphere and winter in the Southern, we are also working with a strong Pluto effect, due to that planet completing its retrograde (backward motion) phase next Monday.

In mythology, Pluto was the god of the underworld, and so ruled over the process of literal death. In astrology, Pluto reigns over endings and beginnings, symbolic death and the rebirth that follows.

This is a powerful time for everyone on the planet, as we consider what old structures to leave behind and what new foundations will most support us going forward. It is an especially potent time for those who are working with direct transits from Pluto to their natal planets, in particular planets between 10 and 12 degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn).

MERCURY is conjunct (at the same degree as) the North Node early in the week. This is not the type of alignment that creates headlines, but it is an opportunity for us to consciously realign our intentions with the higher purposes decreed by the North Node in Libra.

My favorite expert on the meanings of the North Node is astrologer Jan Spiller. She writes, in her book Astrology for the Soul, that the North Node in Libra is directing us to develop the qualities of “cooperation, diplomacy, tact, awareness of others’ needs, and creating win-win situations.”

These qualities can seem out of place when we look at the actual headlines in the news right now. The themes of “us vs. them” is strong — much more in keeping with the intensity of Pluto than the harmony-seeking qualities of Libra.

AND YET, the global imperative is there. The North Node, signifying the path of our collective soul growth, is in Libra, the sign of the Peacemaker, the Lover, the Artist. At the same time, Libra is represented by the Scales, and so also has a stake in fairness and justice. How do we navigate what seems like a contradiction? How do we make peace while also making sure justice is served?

I think each of us has to come to terms with that paradox within our own lives — and for me, the answer needs to be based on what feels Right. Not based on what I’ve done before in similar situations, perhaps, nor what satisfies a certain egoic need of the moment. Those solutions can feel right, but with a lower-case “r.”

What we’re looking for is what feels Right in the capital “R” sense. When I choose an attitude or an action that feels Right, I am in alignment with the highest vibrational response.

IT GETS TRICKY, because so much depends on where we are as we begin the process. If we are in depression or victimization, then choosing attitudes and actions of revenge can actually feel “right,” because there is some relief in those thoughts that move us beyond the role of victim.

But we can’t stop there, because there are still ways we can adjust our attitudes further, ways that help us find more relief and greater alignment with the higher vibrational aspects of our being. And, we also know that if we get into the “eye for an eye” version of justice, we’ll stay stuck in the never-ending feud. We’ve all done it — said the words in anger that felt “good” in the moment, but later found that having said those words just served to keep us in the loop of negative thoughts and feelings.

It can be very complicated, and may at times seem a circuitous or lengthy route. But if we faithfully follow the trail that leads us ever-closer to the feeling of “Right” in its largest sense, we’ll be satisfying both the intentions of the Mercury-North Node alignment in Libra and the directives for transformation being megaphoned by Pluto.

URANUS forms a short-lived yod (“finger of God”) configuration with Venus and Ceres this week. The implication of this yod is that a change is required in our attitudes toward relationships/values (Venus) and self-worth/self-protection (Ceres).

Uranus is at the apex of this configuration. Astrologer Bil Tierney explains in his book Dynamics of Aspect Analysis that apex Uranus requires us to:

“..alter our willful temperament before we can expect to [take advantage of] the new direction indicated by the Yod. Our innate detachment from involvement needs to be transformed into an impersonal yet humanely-concerned drive to reform for the betterment of all.”

CHIRON is not part of this yod configuration, but does get involved in the process this week, through aspects to Venus and Ceres. Chiron brings in the themes of wounding and the healing of that same wound.

With Chiron in Pisces, the wound can manifest as a fear of letting go of control, fueled by a resistance to fully trusting that the Universe is taking care of things. This wound has us continually seeking for, figuring out, and implementing solutions, but rarely pausing long enough to really allow ourselves to hear on different levels.

And the healing? The possibility of stepping into a new perspective that incorporates a deepened faith in — and allowing of — the assistance we receive from nonphysical realms, even if that assistance looks different that what our conscious minds expect.

Blessings,
Pam

The Oracle Report | Sunday, September 15, 2014

I love today’s photo! It is probably on Anna Maria island as there aren’t too many beaches left on the west coast here that have forest. Though it could be further south, Fort DeSoto, Caladesi Island or Egmont Key. Either way it’s wonderful to see this image and imagine our coast as it was before condos and resorts took over.

I wish humans could adopt Elven city aesthetics-ie all you see is nature. The buildings are built as integral parts of the land and forest rather than utterly destroying everything in order to plop a few ugly squared off buildings in the middle of loads of ugly squared off parking lots.

But that will likely have to wait until more humans have woken up and released their programming, and irrational fear of trees.:-/

Still, it’s beautiful to imagine! 😉

Disseminating Moon Phase: share

Moon in Gemini

Ruling Mahavidya: Shodashi (Goddess Who Brings Our Highest Desires) and Matangi (Goddess of the Wind)

Skill: be receptive to messages, information, and changes

Negative Imprint: plunging into situations without thought of consequence, the need to be noticed through showing off, inflexible, control, attempts to extinguish light

Positive Imprint: truth, skillful navigation, faith, courage, psychic sensitivity, downloads from Spirit

What’s on the wind today? Matangi, Wisdom Goddess who is the Goddess of the Wind, is close at hand, whispering words that sweep through our souls. Spiritual parts of us want to come into conscious expression, so it is important to be listening to the inner voice today.

Many different messages, information, and changes are delivered today. Mercury is in opposition to Uranus, bringing these messages, information, and changes swiftly – often shockingly or out of the blue and in the form of rejections. The Moon’s transit through Gemini magnifies these themes. When Uranus is involved, we are ALWAYS saved by our rejections. Shodashi uses Uranus’ influence of change to divert our course back toward what is in line with the best interests of our souls. This line always leads us closer to home.

This energy brings the tendency to act impulsively, but the wisdom is to “sit” with the impulses (or messages, information, or changes) for a bit to give us time to understand the motivation and depth involved.

Control issues are heightened today. The highest expression of this theme is self-mastery, so direct any feelings of needing to control toward yourself. When Mercury and Uranus are in opposition, people’s views and words can clash. Things come out of our mouths before we know it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but respect is paramount.

The position of Venus today, “a bride with her veil snatched away” will bring many things to light. Veils that mask truth are torn off. This contributes to the shock factor that is so pronounced with the day’s energy.

Listen closely to your inner voice today and let Matangi’s winds guide you along the coastline. The way is shown.

Thank you for supporting the Oracle Report. Blessings to all!

D L Zeta | Dreams and Eclipse Portals Transport us to Future Life Tracks

Dreams and Eclipse Portals Transport us to Future Life Tracks

We are approaching a period of accelerated and powerful energies with the upcoming fall/spring equinox, an eclipse series in October, and Mercury retrograde from October 4 to 26. These energies will bring windows of opportunity as well as challenges designed to help us re-calibrate our spiritual connection and restructure our approach to our purpose. The decisions we make during this period will cast a wide sphere of influence well into the coming year.

Revisit your intentions to make the Most of Magnified Energies

So why are we talking now about energies that are a few weeks out? One reason is that many lightworkers are sensitive to energies and begin to experience the powerful shifts an eclipse brings a month or more prior to the actual event. Another reason is in order to make the most of the opportunities this powerful passage will bring we need to revisit our intentions and visions prior to this time of magnified energies.

We can begin now preparing for this period through dreamwork, journaling, meditation, dietary and other changes. By focusing our intentions, we ride the waves of these powerful energies into future life tracks where we experience more of our divine nature.

The September 22 Equinox seeks to balance Mind, Body and Spirit

The upcoming equinox will boost our preparations for October’s transformative energies. In the northern hemisphere, it’s time to balance mind, body and spirit and undertake cleaning and clearing in preparation for winter. Clearing clutter and bringing order to our environment is important to finding balance. This is a good time to begin new dietary regimens and health practices that build our immune system. This balancing and clearing will support our journey into October’s Mercury retrograde and eclipse series.

Visiting Future Life Tracks in Dream States

The next few weeks are a time to examine if some of our intentions are outdated and no longer valid. This is a time to open to new ideas and visions and begin energizing these as the energies amplify and accelerate. In coming weeks, nightly dreams will become an excellent source of new visions as our subconscious mind is drawn to travel to future life tracks in order to examine the field of potentials crystallizing in our future. Practice writing down dreams and you will begin to remember more of your nightly travels.

The period just prior to an eclipse series is a very rich time for dream journeys. You can set your intentions before going to sleep to travel to potential new life tracks. Just before bedtime is also a good time to review the questions you are working with and ask for guidance to come through your dream travels. This is a time of heightened energies when lucid dreams are more likely. To cultivate lucid dreams, practice lucidity in your waking life. Be mindful where you focus your attention prior to falling asleep as this focus helps direct the flow of your dream travels.

Journaling, Automatic Writing and Meditation

To make the most of upcoming energies, its helpful to begin an intensive introspective period in the weeks prior. You may find it helpful to journal if you don’t already. Journaling helps you gain perspective and insight into your “waking dream.” Daily journaling also helps you bring awareness to stuck emotions so you can clear them. When you journal, give yourself the freedom to write whatever flows into your mind. Journaling is a good housecleaning tool to assist you in processing emotions and bringing awareness to the landscape of your mental and emotional bodies.

Once you become comfortable with daily journaling, you can begin to incorporate automatic writing. One way to begin automatic writing is to write out questions on one side of your notebook and allow answers to flow onto the opposite page. When you begin writing things you don’t consciously know, you have tapped into the deep well of your subconscious.

Meditation is another excellent tool for getting in touch with the flow of your internal world. Meditation can bring awareness of potentials crystallizing in future life tracks. It also helps with internal housecleaning. Meditation raises your vibration and over time, can help break loose stuck emotions, allowing them to bubble to the surface of your consciousness to be released. If you don’t currently have a meditation practice, begin now. Sit for at least 15 to 30 minutes every day, releasing all thoughts and relaxing and stilling your mind. Allow whatever happens to be perfect for you within the moment.

Our Astrology Chart Depicts the Personal Impact of an Eclipse

We will all feel the effects of the upcoming Mercury retrograde and eclipse energies. The exact way in which you experience them can be understood by examining your astrology chart. The type of impact and its intensity and duration depends on where an eclipse falls in a person’s astrology chart. If an eclipse falls within 3” of a planet or an important point in your chart by conjunction or opposition, it is of special significance to you. The nature of the planet impacted by the eclipse offers clues to the experiences that lie ahead. Each house in astrology points toward an area of your life. Knowing which house in which an eclipse falls in your chart will help you get your affairs in order.

Mercury stations retrograde from October 4-26, journeying from 2 degrees Scorpio to 16 degrees Libra. This is a potent Mercury retrograde because it activates the October 23 Solar Eclipse point of 0 degrees Scorpio, intermingling the energies of Mercury retrograde with the solar eclipse. You can examine where 0 degrees Scorpio lands in your chart (and points within orb) to see how the October 23 eclipse will impact you. There will also be a total lunar eclipse October 8 at 15 degrees Aries with the sun opposing at 15 degrees Libra.

On September 26, Jupiter begins a trine to Uranus that lasts several weeks. Jupiter in trine to Uranus opens a portal to good fortune, positive energies, and new and interesting people. This is a great time to bring forth new visions and new creations. Artists, writers, inventors and visionaries of all kinds can ride waves of success during this period. This Jupiter/Uranus trine leads us into a grand fire trine (with Mars, Jupiter and Uranus) conjunct the October 8 Lunar Eclipse. We will talk more about these energies as we draw closer so stay tuned.

Creating a Unified Field of Intention

Once you lay the groundwork and choose your intentions for this upcoming period, you can work with all aspects of your consciousness to bring unity and agreement to these intentions. If some aspects are not on board with these intentions you will not have the unity of vision that brings the laser focus and concentration needed to make the most of these energies. To harmonize and unify all facets of your consciousness, visualize an inner circle of love during meditation. Bring inside this circle all your aspects – younger selves from this lifetime as well as past and future selves that exist in timeframes parallel to your present moment. Inner peace and harmony with all “selves” allows you to create a unified field of intention to help you navigate the upcoming energies.
