Ancient Human Metropolis Found in Africa

By Dan Eden for viewzone.

They have always been there. People noticed them before. But no one could remember who made them or why? Until just recently, no one even knew how many there were. Now they are everywhere thousands no, hundreds of thousands of them! And the story they tell is the most important story of humanity. But its one we might not be prepared to hear.

Something amazing has been discovered in an area of South Africa, about 150 miles inland, west of the port of Maputo. It is the remains of a huge metropolis that measures, in conservative estimates, about 1500 square miles. Its part of an even larger community that is about 10,000 square miles and appears to have been constructed are you ready from 160,000 to 200,000 BCE!

The image [top of page] is a close-up view of just a few hundred meters of the landscape taken from google-earth. The region is somewhat remote and the circles have often been encountered by local farmers who assumed they were made by some indigenous people in the past. But, oddly, no one ever bothered to inquire about who could have made them or how old they were.

This changed when researcher and author, Michael Tellinger, teamed up with Johan Heine, a local fireman and pilot who had been looking at these ruins from his years flying over the region. Heine had the unique advantage to see the number and extent of these strange stone foundations and knew that their significance was not being appreciated.

When Johan first introduced me to the ancient stone ruins of southern Africa, I had no idea of the incredible discoveries we would make in the year or two that followed. The photographs, artifacts and evidence we have accumulated points unquestionably to a lost and never-before-seen civilization that predates all others not by just a few hundred years, or a few thousand years but many thousands of years. These discoveries are so staggering that they will not be easily digested by the mainstream historical and archaeological fraternity, as we have already experienced. It will require a complete paradigm shift in how we view our human history. Tellinger

Where it was found

The area is significant for one striking thing gold. The thousands of ancient gold mines discovered over the past 500 years, points to a vanished civilization that lived and dug for gold in this part of the world for thousands of years, says Tellinger. And if this is in fact the cradle of humankind, we may be looking at the activities of the oldest civilization on Earth.

To see the number and scope of these ruins, I suggest that you use google-earth and start with the following coordinates:Carolina 25 55′ 53.28″ S / 30 16′ 13.13″ E
Badplaas 25 47′ 33.45″ S / 30 40′ 38.76″ E
Waterval 25 38′ 07.82″ S / 30 21′ 18.79″ E
Machadodorp 25 39′ 22.42″ S / 30 17′ 03.25″ EThen perform a low flying search inside the area formed by this rectangle. Simply Amazing!

Did gold play some role in the dense population that once lived here? The site is just about 150 miles from an excellent port where maritime trade could have helped to support such a large population. But remember were talking almost 200,000 years ago!

The individual ruins [see below] mostly consist of stone circles. Most have been buried in the sand and are only observable by satellite or aircraft. Some have been exposed when the changing climate has blown the sand away, revealing the walls and foundations.

I see myself as a fairly open-minded chap but I will admit that it took me well over a year for the penny to drop, and for me to realise that we are actually dealing with the oldest structures ever built by humans on Earth. The main reason for this is that we have been taught that nothing of significance has ever come from southern Africa. That the powerful civilizations all emerged in Sumeria and Egypt and other places. We are told that until the settlement of the BANTU people from the north, which was supposed to have started sometime in the 12th century AD, this part of the world was filled by hunter gatherers and so-called Bushmen, who did not make any major contributions in technology or civilization. Tellinger

A Rich and Diverse HistoryWhen explorers first encountered these ruins, they assumed that they were cattle corals made by nomadic tribes, like the Bantu people, as they moved south and settled the land from around the 13th century. There was no previous historical record of any older civilization capable of building such a densly populated community. Little effort was made to investigate the site because the scope of the ruins was not fully known. Over the past 20 years, people like Cyril Hromnik, Richard Wade, Johan Heine and a handful of others have discovered that these stone structures are not what the seem to be. In fact these are now believed to be the remains of ancient temples and astronomical observatories of lost ancient civilizations that stretch back for many thousands of years.

These circular ruins are spread over a huge area. They can only truly be appreciated from the air or through modern sattelite images. Many of them have almost completely eroded or have been covered by the movement of soil from farming and the weather. Some have survived well enough to reveal their great size [see above] with some original walls standing almost 5 feet high and over a meter wide in places.

Looking at the entire metropolis, it becomes obvious that this was a well planned community, developed by a highly evolved civilization. The number of ancient gold mines suggests the reason for the community being in this location. We find roads some extending a hundred miles that connected the community and terraced agriculture, closely resembling those found in the Inca settlements in Peru.

But one question begs for an answer how could this be achieved by humans 200,000 years ago?

An example of what you will see on google-earth.

This is what you will see on google-earth at 25 3740.90″S / 30 1757.41E [A]. We are viewing the scene from an altitude of 357 meters.

This is not a special location just one we picked at random, within the previously described area. It shows artifacts that are everywhere and we encourage you to search the area with this great internet technology.

The circular stone structures are obvious from this view, even though they may not be visible from ground level. Notice that there are many very long roads [B] that connect groups of the circular structures. If you zoom out and follow these roads they travel for many miles.

The fact that we can see these structures is mainly because natural erosion has blown away the dirt and debris that has covered them for thousands of years. Once exposed to the wind, the rocks are scoured clean and may appear deceptively new.

If you look closely at what first appears to be empty land [C], you will notice many faint circles, indicating that even more dwellings lurk below the surface. In reality, the entire area is packed full of these structures and connecting roads.

Why has no one notices these before?

How the Site was dated

Once the ruins were examined, the researchers were anxious to place the lost civilization in a historical perspective. The rocks were covered with a patina that looked very old but there were no items sufficient for carbon-14 dating. It was then that a chance discovery revealed the age of the site, and sent a chill down the spine of archaeologists and historians!

600 Physicians, Dentists, Scientists and Environmentalists Call for an End to Fluoridation – | Intellihub.com | Here and Now

Apologies for reposting instead of reblogging this-I am unable to load wordpress properly at 28k. With much thanks to Laura for finding and sharing this!

I found this issue very fascinating partly because I live close to some of the mines that produce it as a waste product(and they still ejected county commissioners recently for voting to remove it from the the county water-shouldn’t we have enough in there from the ground the water is coming out of?) and because of the amazing response I got from some Dem activists I was working with when I started posting about it.

I am used to being amazed at the knee jerk responses of some Republicans I know who will parrot Rush no matter how insane or obviously not true the stuff they are saying may be, but I was, until the flouride controversy, kindof convinced that since Democrats are the intellectual party, the ones that are all about education, research, science etc they were smarter people overall, that they would analyze a controversy and research the facts-as I did.

I was astonished when my otherwise intelligent Dem associates went NUTS insulting and attacking me and others who posted about the dangers of adding flouride to tap water and why we thought it was better not to. They were rude, they did not check facts, do research-just the same knee jerk response as when I try to talk to my Tea Partying step grandma about how the Mexica used to RULE the land we live on here in Florida. (as Aztlan Underground says-We didn’t cross your borders-your borders crossed US!;-)

( it isn’t a real big deal if they come here to pick tomatoes-at least it doesn’t make them CRIMINALS-I could see making the world more fair so they could stay HOME and enjoy family and healthy normal lives instead of traveling to pick produce in order to afford to EAT.)

Just as she seemingly could not HEAR the facts about WHY illegal immigration exists and WHO it REALLY benefits (hint it IS NOT the immigrants!) my Dem pals seemed unable to read or process information that disagreed with their pre-conceived idea about flouride”helping poor kids” and people removing it being heartless and mean to the poor.

(most poor kids I know drink flouridated tap water, and by their 20’s they are missing many many teeth so I’m not feeling the love for the flouride given that way-maybe a flouride RINSE in school like us poor farm kids had in the 70’s would actually be effective?)

Anyway, it opened my eyes to the effect of programming and how most people really do live inside the box their society and family built for them and they apparently CAN’T see out.

I stopped using flouride tooth paste for a few years and I don’t recommend that-especially if you drink soda! I am not afraid of flouride used properly, but I wouldn’t want chamomile tea added to my tap water either and it is pretty innocuous/harmless. Adding stuff that is cumulatively toxic to our water supply seems to me like something we should all be able to agree is plain stupid, no matter what our other political beliefs-but I guess I am overly optimistic about some things.

A statement asking Congress to end water fluoridation in the United States has been released by the Fluoride Action Network (FAN). Over 600 professionals, including a Nobel Prize winner, officers in the Union that represents Environmental Protection Agency professionals, and members of the National Research Council panel on fluorides toxicology, have signed the statement.

The report urges Congressional members to recognize that fluoridation is outdated, has serious risks that far outweigh any minor benefits, violates sound medical ethics, and denies freedom of choice.

It cites eight recent events that call for an urgent end to water fluoridation. Among them:

  • A 500-page review of fluorides toxicology by the National Research Council of the National Academies, published in 2006.
  • Evidence from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that found 32 percent of U.S. children have dental fluorosis, which is caused by fluoride.
  • The American Dental Associations 2006 policy change, which recommends not giving fluoridated water to infants for the first 12 months of life.
  • A Harvard University study that found a five- to seven-fold increased risk of osteosarcoma (bone cancer) among young men who were exposed to fluoride between the ages of 6 and 8.
  • The CDCs recognition that fluoride is beneficial in reducing tooth decay when its applied topically, not taken systemically.

The statement calls for members of Congress to sponsor a new Congressional Hearing on Fluoridation that requires those who continue to support water fluoridation to provide scientific basis, under oath, for their continued recommendations.

According to one of the statements signers, Dr. Arvid Carlsson, winner of the 2000 Nobel Prize for Medicine, Fluoridation is against all principles of modern pharmacology. Its really obsolete.

Dr. Mercolas Comments:

This is truly excellent news! Slowly but surely, the truth about fluoride has been leaking out, and now it may finally have the chance to sink in and really prompt some major changes.

If you are new to the site, youre probably still under the impression that fluoridated water is a good thing, so this news may come as a surprise. In reality, fluoride is a dangerous poison that does not help to protect your teeth when you ingest it via your drinking water. As even the CDC has admitted, fluoride may help your teeth if its applied topically, but taking it in systemically does not.

What it DOES do, as this much-needed statement points out, is:

On top of that, the statement reveals that federal agencies have admitted that the industrial grade waste products used to fluoridate over 90 percent of Americas drinking water supplies (fluorosilicate compounds) have never been subjected to toxicological testing or FDA safety-tested approval for human ingestion.

The fact that Americans have been drinking fluoridated water for more than 50 years has really been a giant experiment, at the expense of your health.

You can learn the underlying corruption and abuses of power that have allowed fluoride to be shamelessly promoted in the United States in Christopher Bryons The Fluoride Deception. The publication of this book is one of the eight recent events thats referenced in the statement, simply because it reveals so clearly that industrial interests were behind the early promotion of fluoride.

How You Can Avoid Fluoride, and Help to Ban it in Your Water

If all goes well, this statement should make members of Congress take notice, and may prompt new regulations about fluoridated water.

Until then, you can protect yourself from fluoride by using only non-fluoride toothpaste and not receiving fluoride treatments from your dentist. To remove fluoride from your drinking water, you must use a reverse osmosis filter. Be sure that youre filtering not only the water that you drink, but also the water you use to wash vegetables, make ice cubes, and cook with.

If youre wondering how to keep your teeth healthy, remember that fluoride was never the answer in the first place. Eating right and avoiding processed foods (along with regular cleanings with your natural dentist) will ensure that your teeth stay healthy naturally.

Finally, if youd like to voice your opinion about ending water fluoridation, the Fluoride Action Network has an online petition that you can sign to call for a Congressional Hearing.

Remember, every voice makes a difference, so please feel free to forward this message to all of your interested friends and family members.

Together, we have the power to prompt some real changes for the good of your health, and the health of future generations!
