NOAA / NWS Space Weather Prediction Center CME Arrives at 2:32pm Eastern Thursday January 9, 2014

2014-01-09 20:02 UTC CME Has Arrived

image

The coronal mass ejection (CME), originally expected to arrive around 0800 UTC (3:00 a.m. EST) today, January 9, was observed at the ACE spacecraft just upstream of Earth at 1932 UTC (2:32 p.m. EST). It’s too early to see much with respect to the magnetic structure of this CME, but short-term, high-confidence warnings will be issued as this event plays out. The original forecast continues to be for G3 (Strong) Geomagnetic Storm activity on January 9 and 10. Aurora watchers may be in luck for tonight. The ongoing Solar Radiation Storm, currently at S2 (Moderate) levels, is seeing a modest enhancement with this shock passage but remains below S3 (Strong) threshold at this time. Updates here as this event unfolds.

First Quarter Moon Phase: take action, step out, expression, growth

Moon: Taurus

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

We continue through the brambles of the land of the Black Moon, an underworld of shifting shapes and shadows. Our companions are on high alert. They are fierce warriors, each of them. Mars is skilled in all of the arts of war. Uranus wields the strike force of lightning to shock and stun. Pluto reduces to dust and captures the essence.

Our benefactor Kali follows alongside us, empowering the band of brothers, this force of the sacred masculine.

Suddenly Kali’s head jerks to the side and we all stop cold. Her gaze is focused off in the distance. She is listening. The powerful wizard Sabaoth and the great Goddess Sophia are sending a message, she tells us.

Sabaoth, the Gnostic name for the Sun, is at peak power for its solar cycle. Today, Sabaoth and Sophia, the Gnostic name for the Earth, come to us quietly but with booming strength. A lot will happen over the next few days in the world at large and our individual lives. We are entangled in a lot of ways. From one perspective the energy looks treacherous, but from another perspective we see the myriad of connections and possibilities forming new ways of living life, new ways of doing things, new ways of thinking, and new ways of being. This is called transformation and we are deeply in the throes of one.

We maintain the warrior’s stance today with an open heart and a grounded mind. We recognize that forces not in alignment with natural order are primed to act out at this time. The chains they’ve held over the mind of humanity are dissolving. This must be remembered because it is the truth behind the fiction. Walk through emotional tornados (especially fears) that may be swirling around you today. Listen closely so you can get the message that is being sent to you from higher sources. You’ll feel it in your heart.

Check important things twice today, especially if electronics are involved in the delivery of information. Go back and check even if you think you are sure. There are screens of illusion in place to make us miss things or misinterpret things.

Wise owl Heather sends this photograph of the Sun (Sabaoth) through a maelstrom of branches, which is pretty much the way the energy is right now. We are sorting our way through a forest of transformation For the full effect of Heather’s photograph, clickhere. There is a great deal of wisdom captured in this photo and we are keen students of nature this month. Keep finding the beauty, guys, and send it this way for the rest of us.

Through the veins of branches, light clearly guides us. It may seem dark inside, but the Sun still beams out there. And it’s showing us!
