Legalese, Administrative Procedures and “Vaccine Courts”

Thank you Laura! I can’t understand how anyone can support making medical procedures mandatory. It’s the most basic of all human rights to control our own bodies. The same people who have fits over sharia law requiring women to wear burqhas think governments should take control of personal medical choices. I don’t think it should be about whether it “causes” (more likely triggers or worsens) autism. First because that, proven or not, is a diversion from the fundamental issue of whether human beings have the right to self determination and bodily integrity. As an Asperger on the autism spectrum and a person with physical disabilities, I see the deeper issue as more significant and the way the pro-vaccine crowd is using the autistic community. We are not monsters to be feared or our conditions used as a specter to frighten people away from vaccines. Nor should we be pawns to manipulate public opinion on the issue. Our right to personal dignity and respect is equal to, and commensurate with everyone’s rights to the same. The problem is not autism it’s fascism. Even if vaccines truly caused no demonstrable harm the principle of bodily integrity remains a serious issue. But the evidence is widely available showing that they do cause harm in many cases. Why else would the corporations insiston immunity from llawsuits?

Although this video does not focus on scientific proof of vaccines’ connections to autism, it gives an excellent run down of exactly how the legal system works when it comes to vaccine injuries. Transparency? Hardly. One of the most damning facts of this video, in light of the Department of Health and Human Services consideration of the National Adult Immunization Plan (which sets the stage for mandatory vaccines), is that the Department of HHS owns patents on vaccines and makes money when they are distributed. How much deeper can the conflict of interest go? Watch and learn, then you decide if you’d like to encourage Rebecca Fish to exercise her conscience during this last day of public comment on the NAIP. Rebecca.Fish@hhs.gov

Disseminating Moon Phase: share, communicate

Moon in Scorpio

Wisdom Goddess: Matangi (Goddess of the Wind)

Skill: take a second look at things; attune with your values

Positive Imprint: patient, spontaneous, generous, adventurous, grace, attention to details, like-minded people coming together, new paths, balance, brain power, critical pieces of information provided, social gatherings

Catalysts for Change: impatient, impulsive, overly-critical of self and others, agitated, restless, bored, attacking, not moving on, following the road most traveled for safety and security, temptation, disorder, distortions

Sabian Symbol for the Lunar Month: “a crowded public marketplace” (human interchange and exchange, expressions of self)

The Sun released a powerful M9.2-class (almost X-class) flare with coronal mass ejection Saturday, March 7 at 5:22 pm ET/10:22 pm UT. The archetypal energy of 11 degrees of Libra – “a professor peering over his glasses at his students” was delivered. This is most interesting given that the Sun was making conjunction with Chiron, the Wounded Healer andTeacher, at that time.

In the weekend’s post, I discussed how the energy would bring up old pain, but that the wise thing to do was to focus on the teaching component of Chiron. I think the Sun (the divine being Sabaoth, according to the Gnostics) wanted to make sure we understood the teaching (or lesson, if you prefer, though I dislike the connotation of punishment with that word).

The solar flare and coronal mass ejection – the extreme light – reinforced our ability to see (and be).

Moving back into the present, today’s energy prompts a feeling of wanting to propel forward or get things going. We have ideas or visions in our minds of how we want things to be and we tend to want them now under this dynamic. In many ways, change is actually craved today, unlike most days when we are rigid and rickety with change.

But the Sun is disseminating the energy of “a table set for an evening meal” today, which is about making preparations and having patience. So there is a conflict or rub if we are trying to push things ahead of their time.

The highest octave of the “desire for change” energy today is to take another look at the table that is set for an evening meal (the field of consciousness) and see what we might like to add to it. The table may be set, but are there flowers? Do you want to add candles? What would make it more suitable or beautiful?

In other words, what do we want to add to our ideas and visions of the way we want our experience of life to be over the next year? (The “new year” according to the natural cycle of the Sun and Moon begins April 18. Until then, we are “loading in” to the fields of time and space our intentions and visions for the next year, i.e. setting the table.)

Keep in mind that there is an energetic signature that makes us more sensitive to going against the grain or the status quo or what is socially acceptable. If you feel naked and exposed, you are stepping beyond your comfort zone as you follow your heart’s path. Be patient with yourself.

It’s easy to find errors, see mistakes, and over-analyze today. When coronal masses are ejected, our brains light up, too. We have more brain power. Let’s keep ours from blowing fuses. Take breaks so that there is time for mental rest.

One last thing: If you find yourself in a conflict with someone, pause and determine if it is a battle you want to engage and if you have what it takes to back it up. It is very important to gauge situations before reacting to them today. Even if you are “right,” it is not necessarily in your highest and best interests to assert yourself. If anger is being triggered, it is even more important to gauge the situation. Be wise and take care of yourself.

Venus is delivering beautiful things that we can add to our “table” today. What are you adding to yours?

Government Enforced Vaccines for all Adults Proposed by US Dept of Health and Human Services **Important Update**

Thank you for sharing this! This is very disturbing. While I believe vaccines can be useful, it is totalitarian insanity to force such a potentially dangerous medical decision on an entire country. It’s a huge leap even from complete faith in vaccination to a system wide compulsion of vaccination. I hope that my fellow Democrats will carefully consider the broader implications for human rights of supporting such a serious shift in our national health policy.

Dear Women! Happy International Women’s Day!

Thank you Lada!

Lada Ray Blog

tulips 7

There are lots of beautiful holidays in the world. March 8 is one of my personal favorites. To me it’s associated with spring, smiles, and the intoxicating fragrance of tulips, delicate bells of the lily of the valley and sweetness of the mimosa flowers.

On March 8 the world celebrates the International Women’s Day. This holiday started over 100 years ago in Russia as a celebration of women’s rights and anti-war movement. Years later it became popular the world over as a holiday for women of all ages, when mothers, wives and daughters can kick back and allow themselves to be treated as pampered goddesses, letting men do the chores, bring them flowers, lavish them with massages and tickets to sold-out shows.

Find out how this holiday is celebrated in Russia and beyond from my eternally popular piece on Lada Ray Blog, combining history, reflections, memories and rare images: March 8…

ASTROLOGY JOURNAL
Your Guide to Planetary Energies for
March 9 to 15, 2015
By Pam Younghans

IF YOU’VE BEEN WAITING for the energy and courage to take a risk, break free from the past, or make a major change, this week may very well provide you with all that, and more.

Mars, the planet of desire and action, aligns with Uranus, the planet of change and liberation, on Wednesday. These two planets come into alignment every two years, and so this week’s conjunction is not unique — but what is outstanding about this particular alignment is that it occurs within a week of the final Pluto-Uranus square. In fact, after Mars aligns with Uranus, less than seven hours pass before it then squares Pluto.

In astrological terms, Mars is acting as a “trigger” for the effects of the Pluto-Uranus square. That means we can expect this week’s events to act as the lever to pry us free from where we’ve been stuck, and to further dismantle old structures that no longer serve the greater good.

THE ENERGY is high as we begin the week, as Jupiter trines Mars on Monday. This planetary combination can help us feel that anything is possible. Mars is forthright and action-oriented, while Jupiter is optimistic and enthusiastic. The two working in harmony together provide plenty of inspiration and courage to apply to whatever opportunity or challenge is before us.

As Mars is also also conjunct Uranus, however, we may not be taking the time to consider possible outcomes before we take our leap of faith. There is a tendency to throw caution to the winds and worry about ramifications later. This, of course, can be helpful if we’ve been too tied to the status quo and need a good push to get us moving. But, especially with Pluto also involved, it will be wise to consider where we ultimately want to end up after we’ve leaped off the cliff.

OUR THINKING may also be more idealistic, somewhat confused, or at the very least less practical starting on Thursday, when Mercury moves into Pisces and immediately interacts with the Pluto-Uranus energy field.

Mercury will actually be at the midpoint between Pluto and Uranus on Thursday and Friday. A midpoint is a sensitive point that amplifies the energies of both of the planets involved.

With Mercury at that Pluto-Uranus midpoint, confusion or uncertainty are likely scenarios, as our brains try to come to terms with the changing reality that once was “life as usual.”

THANKFULLY, Saturn’s influence is also strong this week, since the ringed planet is moving very slowly now. Saturn will come to a standstill on Saturday and then change directions to begin its retrograde (backward-motion) phase.

Saturn’s job is to help us slow down and be more practical and responsible, so having strong Saturn energies at this time may actually be a good counterbalance to the extremes represented by Pluto, Uranus and Mars. Yes, there are times when we can feel grateful for Saturn, who we usually blame when life seems to be moving too slowly, or when we have to delay gratification of a need.

IF THERE ARE WORDS of advice to help us navigate the energies of the coming week, they might include:

  • Remember to breathe – and breathe deeply into your lower lungs
  • Stay in your center as much as possible
  • Know your own higher intentions in every situation
  • Let go of expectations and become an observer of events
  • Try not to attach to situations that arise — they may only be temporary, and giving your energy to them may make them larger than they need to be

And, most importantly, hold constant the vision of who you really are — that wise being who embodies the qualities of peace, faith, and hope, a being who can transcend the dramas of life and emerge from all circumstances with a brighter light, and with a stronger vision of what is possible.

In peace,
Pam
